| Borgward Club of SA |
| The Borgward Club of South Africa is divided into two regions ( North & South ) and functions independently although in close co-operation.
The aims of the club are to bring Borgward enthusiast together and to preserve as many Borgward vehicles as possible by sourcing spares and information on maintenance etc. and making this available to members. Members are also encouraged to restore their cars when in need or to have it done through the channels available. In doing so it not only increases the value of but also the pride of ownership.
On the social side monthly meetings are being held in a Multi-Club-Clubhouse in the main centre as well as regular day and weekend outings.
The highlight of the Annual Functions is the "Concours D Elegance" competition where members compete for trophies and prizes. Cars are judged according to originality as well as cleanness and standard of restoration.
Every second year a national gathering for members of both regions are organised at the Gariep Dam Holiday Resort centrally situated in the Southern Free State.
To keep members informed of activities, news, technical aspects etc., newsletters and circulars are sent out on a regular basis.
We are affiliated to the S.A. Marque Club Association. The club has friendly relations with all the other Borgward Clubs in the world and organises internation gatherings from time to time as was done successfully in March 2000.
