The SA Online franchise

SA Online is a project that can only be successful by involving people. The project requires people to canvass traders, throughout South Africa, and make them aware of the advantages of using the Internet as a powerful marketing tool. The tool is not only for them to remain competitive but to give them a manoeuvring edge in business that larger operators cannot match. We therefore require entrepreneurial minded people to take up license rights for selected areas throughout South Africa to promote the SA Online database facility.

The license right will secure the Licensee the sole right to a predefined and more than adequate sustainable area. The Licensee will visit all the traders in his/her area and encourage them to join SA Online and to guide them to use the Internet as a means in which they can do business on a 24 hour x 7 day a week basis.

In turn the trader will be encouraged to pay SA Online for the service supplied and from which such payment, a very large slice will go to the Licensee.

The SA Online concept gives the small and medium shopkeeper an equal chance to utilise the Internet as a marketing tool and in a way levels the playing field for all. It is now no longer a matter of who is big and who is small and big must be better. It is now a matter of service.

Many full-time employed people often find it difficult to take time off during the week to go shopping. This means that most of the shopping is done during weekends cutting into the quality time a person needs to spend with the family.

Our research has shown that a large number of people are already using the Internet from an office and a home situation primarily to do financial transactions. Many companies are already positioning themselves by making their catalogues available. It is therefore a natural progression for people, with access to the Internet, to eventually do the everyday mundane shopping via the Internet.

In a marketing survey we found many people very keen to use the Internet for the following type of purchases, and these include Groceries, Vegetable, Liquor, Meat, Pharmacy related products, etc.

WHO QUALIFIES?
It is obvious not everybody is cut out for the job. We need energetic people who are keen to build a business and a career for themselves. Who are self-starters and are persuasive. Persons who enjoy working with people. Exposure to computers and the use of them will be extremely helpful. Knowledge of the area (and its people) in which you wish to work is important and you do need your own transport.

We are not restricted to age nor to race. We do, however, feel that in certain cases it is best to appoint people according to the culture addressed if for no other reason than language barriers.

WHAT WILL YOU, THE LICENSEE, RECEIVE?
The appointed Licensee will receive:
Sole right to a predefined selling area with an above average sustainable income
A Laptop computer complete with all the required software
